Warehouse Agent - Receiving - Ellenwood

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Agent - Receiving to work with a leading logistics company in Ellenwood. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our fast-paced warehouse operations, ensuring that all freight is processed, stored, and documented with precision and safety.

Shift patterns:

• 1st Shift: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Monday - Friday)

Pay rates:

• 22.00 USD hourly

Must-have requirements for Warehouse Agent - Receiving:

• At least 2 years of recent warehouse, freight, logistics, or distribution experience
• Demonstrated hands-on experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts
• Experience loading and unloading trailers
• Ability to read manifests, delivery orders, labels, and work instructions
• Basic computer, email, data-entry, and warehouse system skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance

Desirable requirements for Warehouse Agent - Receiving:

• Current forklift certification is preferred
• Previous receiving experience or experience in freight forwarding, air cargo, transportation, cross-dock, or third-party logistics
• Experience handling palletized and floor-loaded freight
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable and dependable with a strong sense of urgency
• Able to identify and report damage or discrepancies accurately
• Team player who can coordinate effectively with warehouse and office teams

Role tasks for Warehouse Agent - Receiving:

• Load and unload trailers efficiently
• Move and put away freight in designated storage areas
• Verify piece counts and shipping documents for accuracy
• Receive, label, weigh, measure, and photograph cargo
• Enter shipment and inventory updates into warehouse systems
• Maintain safety standards and report any damage or discrepancies
• Coordinate effectively with warehouse and office teams
